The scaling is either by this factor, or by 10. On another part I converted, edited, and exported, I had to use a scale I calculated of 39.9% in my 3D Printing slicer in order to obtain the correct size. If you zoom up, you will see it consists of a lot of points like the image below. This technique will allow much larger STL files to be imported into SolidWorks than the native SolidWorks STL import tool. Seems to have retained the incorrect scale, however I lost the circular geometry, so I had to measure face to face. The Mesh Enabler enables Inventor users to work with imported Mesh data.
Now, measuring the mesh converted into a base part: This seems to be a factor of 10, which is fine, but inconvenient.
